Company Memo
I would like to let you know that we will be relocating to a new location next week. The company policy permits you to move your office equipment or workstation from the current team to new team and therefore you are free to transfer your ergonomic chair or desk, laptops, cabinets, and boards, and other items. However, before moving your workstation, you should check with your admin and let me know if you will be moving your equipment to the new station. You should bear in mind that the new workstation would have monitor and peripherals. Further, I would like you to know that relocation of the boxes, label, tapes, and move maps is scheduled to take place four to five days from you chosen date. I, therefore, request to let me know whether you will be moving your work station, the suitable date for relocation, and whether the set time frame is adequate for you to pack your items.
I would also like to inform you that you will be required to do a set of things before the arrival of the movers. First, you are expected to put form pad around the valuable, fragile items such as anniversary glass sculpture and IT plaques and then box them up. Secondly, you are required to pack up all the content of all gray filling because the movers will not carry them. Third, you need to write on the moving map the number and delivery location of a white board, cork board, and rolling cabinets. Last and most importantly is that you need to add is to give label to all your items such as docking stations, monitors, desk phones, tablets, peripherals, and ergonomics chair, and tables.
The relocation of all items will take place on either Friday of November 9th or Friday of November 16th. The message is formal and provides a requirement for changing a working station (Futures 12). It is clear for new team members to grasp the conditions and respond adequately. However, it gives the reader a discretion to choose when the move should take place and what equipment they want to move (Attwood 98).
