Production Planning. A management strategy known as "lean production" focuses on eliminating waste and ensuring that quality standards are met. The method can also be used in all areas of the business, including design, production, and distribution. As they increase business efficiency and responsiveness to market demands, the organization will eventually reduce costs. Production frequently focuses on capturing a substantially greater market share compared to its rivals and taking advantage of market segments that other companies haven't yet penetrated. Lean manufacturing, in the opinion of Dolgui and Proth (218), concept was then spread throughout the world. On the other hand, pull production refers to a system in lean production used in the process of reducing waste in the production process.
A pull system is an aggregation of several elements that support the process of pulling with the Kanban sign being the tool that is often used as part of the pull system. However, the main production technique applied by companies includes the job method, batch method, flow method, process method, and mass production. The management will often register different profit levels when applying these techniques independently. Secondly, the firm will also have various considerations with the production costs that they will incur in the production process before choosing a particular type of production technique that will suit their goals. As stated by Mukhopadhyay (138), there are four basic strategies for timing and capacity expansion in relation to the steady growth in demand. However, the implementation of these concepts will require a series of pull factors enhancing the process of production.

Impact of Pull Production

Pull factors play a significant role in the concept of minimizing the cost that the firm is likely to incur during the manufacturing process. Nevertheless, these factors stretch to the concept of purchasing products (raw materials) that it will use in the creation of these goods. According to a publication by Gonçalves, Hines, and Sterman (192), the production effect often captures the delayed impact of changes in the demand for the manufacturer’s production decision. However, the instances of lower demand will lead to reduced levels of production, prolonged shortages that depress the demand levels and destabilizing the positive feedback.
On the other hand, business processes are often triggered based on a series of confirmed events or acknowledgment that has been provided by the consumer or the rate of consumption in the market. Nevertheless, the pull factors offer the workers an upper hand in deciding the most appropriate manner of executing certain acts of production. Therefore, the management will have to comply with the sentiments that have been issued by the workers. However, when the practice is in accordance with lean thinking, the methodology is beyond the scope of any current literature (Mahmoodi, Yu and Mahapatra 4700). Additionally, the level of dependence on these variables is based on the type of uncertainties, the level of these uncertainties, market performance, and the inventory control policy.
In conclusion, it can be stated that lean production can hardly attain success without the inclusion of pull factors. An incident of incurring the high cost of production affects the actual price that will be used in the market. Therefore, the pull factors help in setting a baseline that the manufacturer will use in the acts of providing goods for sale.
