It is a mechanism that is efficient for performing multiple duties at a go and also gives the individual members a greater sense of responsibility. More often, it is a technique that is applied in classrooms. It follows the following steps in its formulation. The primary purpose of jigsaw fit is solving multiple tasks through a single sitting. It helps organization save many jobs with little time directed toward meeting a given objective that serves the group (Saiti 110). The students are first broken into groups. Individual students in the group are assigned distinct a particular task. During the session, each student contributes their role for the overall good of the task at hand. It has the following advantages whenever applied. It gives the parties an added share of responsibility giving them a sense of belonging and ownership which is not always present while they are working alone (Saiti 110). It provides an avenue of learning and listening to others making their contributions. It promotes and improves the performance of the finished product. It supports overall development for all people involved. It creates cooperation within an organization or wherever it is applied and reduces the tasks of a leader.

How it improves or promote human relations, trust and understanding

Jigsaw fit can be used in improving human relations and understanding by matching the needs of the organization by specific duties and responsibilities that subsist in the firm. A jigsaw puzzle is introduced to select the right individuals in an organization from the incorrect sets. More often the method aid the human relations manager to recruits personnel that possess the same traits. It is implied that people with the same personality or traits are deemed to possess little or no misunderstanding among themselves. Jigsaw fit will also enhance fairness and lack of biases because it is not altered by human intervention. A healthy group is imperative to make it efficient. Small groups are considered better for a healthy group discussion. The size of a group is not the primary factor to make it efficient. One may have a small group, but people do not want to make the contribution of ideas. In another case, a group has individual with endowed with information about the subject matter, but they cannot come into unanimity in their discussion (Day et al. 14). The group discussion, therefore, end up wasting time and lacking direction because there is no concession for a feasible solution. When such a situation arises, a condition known as groupthink is deemed to have taken the course. Various steps can be followed to avoid groupthink in a group discussion (Gough 9). The steps involve reframing disagreement as necessary to an agreeable idea. Redefining the problem will help the team develop a positive characteristic.

The team members should avoid been too directive to their colleagues. Getting to the root of the problem and making the best decision possible. The parties to the group should confront others with a motivating and encouraging spirit and focus toward effective collaboration. The individuals should contribute their thoughts and ideas and designate critical evaluators of decisions and plans. It should also be served with rules and procedures that govern the behavior of members to avoid conflict while sharing the thoughts with each other. A discussion helped with transparency, and same appreciation of everyone suggestions will help in mitigating group thinking during the session. The condition develops when individual team members begin overlooking over other contributions and consider them primitive. Additionally, being preoccupied with such consciences makes the discussion tasteful even before it starts.

Most folks fail to qualify to be good leaders because they take the task as a role. It is a process that one need to be consistent over time while at the same time having a sense of direction. Maintaining focus help in sustaining the growth experience over a defined period. The continuous nature of leadership determines the best leaders in the corporate and social setting.


Leadership contexts keep on varying within the working environment. A successful leader or the manager should be able to adjust to new situations and ensure the settings fits his or her leadership style and agree with the development stage of his or her staff. Situational nature of leadership requires the leader to adjust and not the followers (Lunenburg 9). Therefore, the manager should fit any unexpected situation that arises in the organization to avoid flaws and loopholes in the organization. It facilitates in making sure that companies' activities will always run as expected without incurring additional cost. It appreciates the fact that leadership context changes continuously.


Interactions are of the essence of any leadership style. That is, a leader needs to interact with the followers and establish the relationship. It is quite hard to lead individuals you cannot communicate to effectively. The trait is paramount for a competent leadership (Lunenburg 11). Therefore, there should be a well-laid communication channels between the management and subordinates to ensure that any directive issued by the leader is well executed. Additionally, it helps in establishing a harmonious co-existence.

Interpersonalism as the Most Important Leadership Skill

It is a feature that ensures that individual players and leaders can relate seamlessly without any hurdle. It focuses on the abilities of people to communicate properly. A leader must possess excellent interpersonal skills to relay and convey information to members. It is a vital feature for leadership today (Cheng 38). Interpersonal skill is the life skills that will use daily in personal and groups to enhance proper communication. Leaders with superb interpersonal skills end up being very successful leaders because they can establish better relations with their seniors and their subordinates as well their professional lives are well defined because they often outstand all other people that lack such traits.
