Talking about me
Over the many years, I've been aware of myself, I've made some fascinating discoveries of who I am in terms of the character and personality that I possess. My character and personality have developed significantly as a result of interactions with peers, family, and activities. When I consider those relationships in conjunction with what I perceive to be my goals and inner urges, it becomes easier to deconstruct who I consider myself to be.
“Adventurous” is a personality attribute that distinguishes me. When it comes to taking risks, I am that person who knows no bounds. Not because I like physical risk, but because I am willing to do something regardless of the potential consequences. I normally find myself visiting new places that I have watched in random movies and interact with people some of whom I don’t share language with. One of the interesting things that I love exploring is food. Over the years, I have managed to explore different foods over the planet; be it Mexican Crispy Chicken Mini, African fufu and Nyama choma, or even Middle Eastern Hummus and tahchin. I also like exploring places and I have been lucky to visit famous countries all over globe.
Another character trait that is befitting to me is having an open mind. This implies that I am not confined to my own beliefs neither I am confined to beliefs of others. To the contrary, I am honest to myself and I am able to admit I don’t know everything. This ensures I keep an open room for discovering new things. Whenever I am with friends, especially new ones which I create in my adventures, I make sure I am attentive to catch new ideas which I can try. It is this openness that have enabled me learn new places to visit, new food to try and new games to watch or participate in.
I also considers myself a carefree person. I find myself not stressing because of situations I find myself in. Instead, I like enjoying every moment of my life. I believe the saying “what is done is done” and I have never found myself regretting for not doing something the way I would have desired. I also treasure my freedom and strive to respect that of others. I get along well mostly with people who I perceive as setting me free and not constraining my freedom. Some of my friend considers me an absent minded person or even a day dreamer due to the manner in which I allow my mind to freely mull over something that I consider important to me.
Optimism is another quality that can be used in describing me. I am one person who only believes the best things will happen to me and to my friends even when it seems difficult to do so. For instance, whenever I visit a place, I am always expecting to find friendly people, interesting sites to view and yes, good food to explore. Despite this not being the case at all times, I normally remain positive in my next visit. In the same way, I am a person who always sees my team winning even if the odds are against us. This does not mean I get disappointed when we loses, rather I consider a loss a chance to review mistakes and keep improving. This does not only apply in sports but in other real life experiences including academics.
