We live in a world that keeps changing from one moment to the other. I know, we said easy. But this can be easier than you think. You don’t have to leave your home to give your body the needed stretching it needs to reinvigorate. Just stand up and reach to the ceiling where you are. Reach down to your toes. Do this for 4-10 minutes and you will be surprised how much better your body feels. Lay on the floor and bicycle your legs for a few minutes, while stretching your arms lengthwise along the floor. Breathing in and out easy. Doesn’t that feel good?   1. Drink water before you eat anything

Choose the salads, the fruits, and anything that provides fiber. Your stomach is one of the main keys to good health, and if it is not working properly you can just forget anything else working properly.

Regular checkups with your doctor cannot be stressed enough. Today many illnesses can be handled with medication if caught in time by regularly seeing your doctor. Who has not been stopped in their tracks by their eye-health, or dental health due to neglecting the visits that are recommended by our health care providers? Keep your appointments and tell your doctor of any changes in your body that you have noticed since your last visit. You may be looking at the screen like, huh? What does gratitude have to do with being healthy? Studies show that those who express and feel gratitude for what they have and others, have more energy, are happier, look forward to life, and have more social connections outside of the home. They are also less depressed, sleep more restfully and are much healthier physically, mentally and physically. When you are grateful it opens up in your mind the way to solutions instead of dwelling on the negativity that may try to creep up in your mind. When you focus on good things this can enhance your resilience.

  1. A sense of who you are

Get to know who you are. When we are focused on others all of the time, this also can lead to bad health. Stressed out about others problems and not taking care of what you need to do for you is a killer. You will suffer from headaches, loss of appetite and an overwhelming feeling of a lack of appreciation. Many times when we don’t know ourselves and what we want out of life we tend to gather the wrong people in our circle of friends because we are trying to please others.
