My name is Vincent, a retired design consultant. I hold a diploma in Bachelor'S Degree of Science, Civil and structural engineering and another one in Real Estate Management. I am a Christian aged 52 years. Besides my huge investment in the real property industry, I also have little investment in data technology. I have a great passion for the work of arts and especially in the field of structural and architectural design. Developing architectural work and plans is not simply a way of increasing my wealth but as an alternative a way of seeing the artist’s talents nurtured and helping fulfill some dreams. My whole estimated worth is about $2 billion.

The structure that wishes to be planned, designed and constructed is a mountain resort. My plan is to come up with a state of the art building design which provides a unique exposure and also incorporates modern architecture. The resort will require a multi-discipline of professionals; an architect, both design and landscape architect, and an interior designer. The Architect will design the entire resort. The artist that I have chosen is Design Partnership Limited, which has designed House of Representatives, Botanic Garden, Library of Congress among other building In the U.S.

The first drawing is an original sketch. It will be approved once the architectures certify that it is of the right size and design for the place and purpose. For the second drawing, it is a simple but incorporates the use of international and modern architecture. Of course, both diagrams are subject to revision by the designers to be employed.

The location of the resort is on the edge of an escarpment, and therefore, the design should conform well to the topography of the area. The architect duties will be to develop the final image for the resort and also to help me define what I want to build and also ensure the planning and design process has proceeded smoothly. I prefer not have various architects because I would want to minimize the differences in ideas for design and planning of the building, and therefore reduces changes and revision comments. As a result, I opted to have the architect decide on the people he would want to help with particular tasks. The end outcome is supposed to be a stable building, which provides utmost safety from any natural disasters. Even though I expect the architect to help me in reducing the original budgeted costs, this is not to compromise the intended perfect design. The resort should have around 20 spacious rooms and areas for different functions. The rooms should accommodate a maximum of four people. It should also have a restaurant and an open air kitchen where parties could be held.

The dining rooms should be big enough, and there should be two conference rooms and a bar. All of the partitions should be integrated to create a free space between these structures where a swimming pool should be constructed.

The landscape architect is needed to design the landscape of the area considering its location in the slope of the mountain. The landscape architect that I chose has successfully worked on many challenging projects and will therefore be responsible for designing the rest of the places and providing level plans as per the designer's specification. Some of the responsibilities include site design like the pavement, open terraces, grading and finishing works.

The landscape architect will also be responsible for the architectural perspectives and aesthetic appearance of the resort through planting trees and flowers around the area and also create an artificial spring within the resort. I would want all the parties to articulate the ideals of modernism, specifically the style. The windows of this building should comprise of louvered screens designed and constructed to reduce the level of direct sunlight. The mountain resort, being a tourist resort, the interior design will be critical. The interior designer that I chose has a lot of recommendations from her clients and has successfully, and satisfactory worked on various projects.

After completion of the building, the interior designer will improve the appearance of the rooms to please the visiting clients. After understanding the rooms’ layout plans and their functionalities, the designer will plan for the space allocation, which involves scrutinizing the available space and making the decision of what goes where. The other duties of the designer will be to determine the furnishings and the color pallets best suited for each room. The interior design will help to determine the proper lighting of the building. I would prefer the extensive use of natural light as I believe it is a crucial aspect of such buildings particularly for the comforts of the guests. Natural air circulation is also a key factor because people will want to have a similar experience when outside and inside the building.

After determining the furnishings requirements for the interior decoration, the designer is supposed to create and order a material schedule for delivery depending on the predetermined room dimensions and incorporated appliances. Procurement of the necessary materials and appliances for the interior decoration will be followed by their implementation to auger with the agreed design of the rooms.

There are some new materials in architecture that I would recommend the designer to use: Cast iron is one of the items that I have chosen as a component for the working harbor which is supposed to provide unrefined appearance. The cast iron will also enhance the support of heavy weight brought about by so many storeys.

The tourist resort will be situated in a small town near a mountain that is famous for hiking. The resort is located between the highway and the ski area at Resort Drive. The mountain is famous for sporting activities and tourism as many athletes visit it to conduct their training because of the favorable climate. Due to its location at the edge of an escarpment, the resort scene is exciting. The significance of the site of the resort is its convenience regarding transport and access to shopping centers. A favorable environment will also surround it; parks and interesting places that tourists would love to take pictures and relax comfortably at their pleasure.

I visited this place during a staff get together party during my working period. I realized the place has a shortage of resorts considering the number of tourists visiting the area. It is for this reason that prompted me to creatively think to bring a solution to solve the existing shortage problem. The resort will accommodate tourists and other visitors coming for training and other tourist activities as the area is well endowed with beautiful sceneries worth to be visited.

To conclude, the building that needs to be designed and constructed needs to be a tourist resort. The aim is to establish a unique design for a building which will incorporate specifications of a modern and internationally recognized building. The hired architectures and designers will fundamentally come up with a resounding project.
