Electricity power is a significant component in the healthcare set up of any health care system; its disruption poses a lot of threat to the healthcare operation. Therefore as the administrator of such a hospital, I would immediately embark on correction measures aimed at eliminating the immediate threat and defining a long term counter plan in case the same happens in the future (In Perley, 2016). In that context, therefore I would formulate an immediate counter plan that would afterward be followed by a long term administrative plan.

Immediate Recovery Plan

The immediate threat to this scenario is the likelihood of running out of the batteries that are operating critical devices in the healthcare such as oxygen machines among others that could lead to a death toll if not administered quickly. Therefore, to save the situation, I will order the emergency power turn on with the regulations that it is only supposed to be aimed at satisfying the critical components of the healthcare facility. With this on, the support life machines would be sustained for sometimes as I arrange for more action. After this, I will ensure that all patients I critical devices are checked and administered accordingly. Along with this, I will seek for an evacuation assistance with securing of space in the nearest healthcare center with good facilities for the critical patients. I will, therefore, transfer all the patients with special device operational conditions to the hospitals as I seek for more support in the power administration concept (Burton, 2014).
In my immediate recovery plan, key elements in the healthcare facility, as well as outside stakeholders, need to be informed of the occurrence to assist in the plan facilitation. Among the critical people to be made aware of this are the hospital technicians whom I would need ensuring that power supply from the emergency power is rationalized for the maximum time possible. In addition to this, I would make contact with law enforcement personnel to lend a hand in the evacuation process by lending personnel skilled in patient handling (Bulechek, 2012).  I would also ensure that I make contact with power stations to assist by providing an alternative power supply for the mean time. I would communicate information featuring the number of patients in power-operated machines and the danger imposed on them.

Long term Correction Plan

I will ensure that the long-term correction plan administers any other related scenario likely to occur in the future. In that context, therefore I will lay down a plan that will ensure that emergency power intensity in the healthcare is increased. I will also demand increased technicians and training that would ensure that they administer the power issues in ensuring that all the support life batteries are above average in health sustaining I case of a power loss. I will also ensure that in the plan, there is enough transport provision for evacuation and provision of workforce specialized in the evacuation process. Lastly, I will make sure that the hospital only admits a particular number of patients on operational power machines to eradicate competition for limited power during power loss (In Perley, 2016).
The ethical implications of this are that the hospital will adhere to adequate care code of administration by ensuring consideration than contextual service. In addition to this, the workforce provision in this would depict the healthcare competence in providing quality and efficiency. However, the financial implications of this plan seem to be overwhelming (Burton, 2014). Due to the need to increase equipment, emergency power supply and work force in specific skilled areas imply that there will be budget straining. In that sense, therefore, hospital charges might shoot up to compensate for the increased expenses.
