Scholarly foundation is something common to every individual with degree and substance varying among individuals. A number of people have had great encounters, while some others were not that lucky. With educators being so impactful as I contemplate and recall from my grade school days, this enlightening experiences are central component for furthering trainings after school.
Enthusiastic about Educational Material
The things we get to face throughout our daily living seemingly have a compound effect on the directions our lives take; these are seen to have different implications for each of us. Ever since childhood, I have been enthusiastic about the educational material; this has not deterred even after I joined high school. I have reason to believe that this is what developed into my teaching passion, and my history has served to make me a better teacher and a positive Christian influence.
The Impact of Home Life
The situation from the home where a student hails has a proportional impact on the general academic performance. On 16th of July the year 1993, in Pennsylvania in a place known as Willow Grove which is a suburb of Philadelphia located in the northeastern part of the city, I was born to a family constituting of two parents, and two sisters. Growing up under the influence of a Christian home, my schedule was littered around with church-related activities, such as regular service attendance and participation in youth groups; this probably was why I got saved at the age of five. There was a turn of events while in middle school, my parents got involved in a divorce dispute which at the moment was detrimental to my psychological well-being. The divorce led to my mother and I shifting our residence frequently throughout middle school and also into my high school years.
Life Events Shaping My Development
The events of my life growing up have tailored me into what I am today these include: work attachments, volunteer work and last but not least, my sisters having children. McDonald's, my first employer, engaged me for four years; this then helped me acquire professional people skills. In my high school, I got involved in the school soccer team which installed self-restraint. Additionally, in that period, I was assigned duties by the school, to be in charge of student class affairs. I also got to travel with the volunteer team that I was involved with, as a Christian missionary, this mainly because my mother was employed in an airline company. This was essential in helping me learn the value of service to humans.
Preparedness and Organization
For successful teaching, I have gathered that teaching has two key concepts that are style, preparedness, and organization. I hold dear to the belief that every student is unique in their way of learning based on the instructions they are being given either through audio, visual and even discussions. I firmly believe that getting ready for pending work is a secret to successful teaching and this entails proper record keeping and follow up on the progress of the students as well as managing time well. My involvement in working with children is stretching from way back. I have many encounters both educating and giving direction to youngsters. I am an uncle, and my five nieces and nephews all are of the different ages, and I would state that they have been a substantial impact on my choice to wind up distinctly as an educator. There have been numerous open doors for me to help them with their homework and guide them. Despite the fact that I may have shown them so much; they have shown me the same amount of consequently. Since my first year of secondary school, I have volunteered at my congregation's Vacation Bible School as a team pioneer. Despite everything, I do this consistently. I get the chance to show kids about Jesus in a way that is both fun and energizing. I likewise get the opportunity to rehearse my administration abilities with children in the meantime.
Growth and Learning
In all these, I attribute all learning to God's gifting, and that growth is as a result of His blessings. I have gained that being patient and adhering to self-discipline is paramount to the one's acquisition and retention of knowledge. As a peer influence in the educational sector, I associate myself with utmost integrity and openness in my dealings and my character.
A Sum of Life Experiences
A lot of debates have been put on the table on whether events in one's life happen independently or they work to orchestrate the adult that one grows to become. In general, what I am today is a total sum of what I have gone through in the past, as a child at home, in school and other places where life has taken me. The good and the bad both worked together to shape my concept of life in general, and for this, I am grateful to God.
