The Abortion debate
The abortion debate has been considered for decades as very controversial; ethically abortion is not right whether legal or illegal in the state of residence. My claim is supported by the fact that a fetus has life and should be considered as a human being and no woman or man has a right to terminate life, essentially because they have no power to give life in the first place.
Reasons and assumptions
A fetus is a human being and therefore has equal human rights and murder is a crime. Individuals should not be given the right to decide whether a child should live or die and the government should take stringent measures against this. The Government has a duty to protect all children born or unborn because they are the future a single child has the capacity to transform an entire generation. They could invent cures to diseases or be the next great world leaders. Abortion should not be legalized even in the case of rape or incest because children conceived from this acts are innocent and in fact abortion is the worst form of solution one can offer a woman during such a crisis. Both parents have parental rights and should make the decision regarding their children. Therefore women alone cannot decide whether to keep a child or not.
Counterclaims to this argument
Abortion should remain legal as the government has no right to interfere with the private decisions of its citizens. The fatalities that result from performing illegal alley abortions without the care of professional doctors should lead the government to allow abortions in hospitals. And finally, those against abortion may argue that unwanted pregnancies result in poverty and economic deprivation of a state.
Conclusion
There are various precautionary procedures that people can take to avoid the abortion situation and this should be considered. Yet, the main point to consider in this debate is that suppose your parents decided to abort you where would you be today. So be grateful that abortion was not an option for them and it should not be an option today.ld not be an option today.
