My name is Carder

My name is Carder, and I'm a young boy from Northern California who went out to buy a play station. It happened on December 12, 2015. Carder had just turned 15, and her mother had given him money to buy a play station as a birthday present. Carder was so happy that she didn't wait for her mother to get home. As a result, her mother let him go shopping by himself. Carder's parents lived in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. However, the district has been a survivor of the region's increased violence on many occasions. Carder had to board a train for him to get into the central business district and get to one of the electronic shops.

Carder got into the train station

Carder got into the train station ten minutes before takeoff and in a couple of minutes, the train was ready to take off. carder had booked a seat near a window so that he would enjoy the city's beauty. California is known for its gigantic trees and amazing landscape and this would always capture Carder's attention. The different sounds produced by the train and the wonderful farm fields made the journey more than enjoyable. However, inside the train, some actions caught Carder's attention. A man and a woman, whom Carder had first thought were the couple, had been involved in a heated argument for the past ten minutes. The lady had long brunette hair which rustled in the reflection of the windows. The man was gigantic, had blue eyes, long legs and wore a blue jean. His voice would make one melt like a fire.

Carder feared that the arguments would escalate

Carder feared that the arguments would escalate and blows exchanged. One of the worst fears that Carder had in his life was domestic violence. When he was aged 11, a fight broke up between his parents. His parents were arguing over a message screenshot that provided evidence that his father had been cheating on his mother. At first, the argument looked easy but before Carder knew it, his father had punched and slapped her mother on the jaw while her mother bit him. carder's mom was slapped several times and her hair pulled off. After the domestic violence, his parents divorced and he was now residing with his mother.

Due to his past experiences

Due to his past experiences, his fear of domestic violence took over. He knew that violence would break out any time. he thus gathered courage and decided to take a brave action. He thus decided to approach the couple and provide a solution. At first, the man hurled insults at him. However, the lady looked so depressed. The man left for a short call and Carder approached the lady. The lady asked him not to leave her out of sight. "I want to go home, can you make it possible for me", the lady said. "Why can't you go with him?" carder asked. "He does not want to let me go." Carder ran back to his seat since he knew the man was almost back.

Carder knew he had to help the lady

Carder knew he had to help the lady. Despite the threats from the man. He decided to join their seat. Carder was a good storyteller and he decided to tell the couple about his parent's story. Though the story was quite emotional, it fell on deaf ears. The man looked at carder in a manner suggesting that he was not giving up. Carder knew he had to try another alternative. On checking his watch, he realized that they were 20 minutes away from the station. He thus decided to notify the police by dialing 911. He notified the police about their mode of dressing and arrival time.

Just like he expected, the police had arrived

Just like he expected, the police had arrived on time. As soon as they were arrested, a story emerged about the couple. To carder's surprise, the couple had been wanted by the police for several days. A week earlier, a lady had gone missing. Her last appearance was at a friend's birthday party. The lady had been spotted with a man who close friends argued that was her ex-boyfriend. Police had been struggling to locate their movements but they were unable since the man had destroyed all the gadgets that would be tracked.

In a span of few minutes, Carder had transformed

In a span of few minutes, Carder had transformed from a normal kid to a national hero. He had saved a lady from sexual assault, force able confinement kidnapping and other crimes. The news about the lady missing having been in the news, a few journalists interviewed Carder. Questions about how he gathered the courage to rescue the lady, the motive behind and whether he was not afraid of the kidnapper were the main questions. Following his brave actions, various rewards were given to him. The train company rewarded him with free tickets for a period of one year whenever he wants to travel and his family. The police rewarded him with some cash and food. An electronic company gave him a play station at a lower price. Finally, he was nominated for a district award for bravery.

After being nominated for the award

After being nominated for the award, Carder managed to scoop the award. His powerful speech was not only motivational but also proved how brave he was. In his speech, he said "Bravery is a state of mind. One must not be gigantic, healthy for him to be considered brave. However, a strong mind is the only requirement." This being one of the inspirational quotes he used among other quotes inspired the security secretary who decided to offer him a scholarship that lasted to the university level.

Being a key witness in the sexual assault case

Being a key witness in the sexual assault case, Carder had to be present during the hearing. His statements among other key witnesses were enough to satisfy the judge that the suspect was guilty of sexual assault, kidnapping, and force able confinement. The judge thus made a ruling. In his ruling, he congratulated Carder for his brave actions. He also encouraged other people and fellow citizens, not to be afraid to speak up since their voice might save someone's life. The suspect was found guilty of the above crimes and sentenced to a 20-year jail term.
