In an organization, the management should make the roles of each and every individual clear. This will guide the employees on what to do to get their jobs done because it will reduce confusion and ambiguity which could make the environment unconducive (Goldhaber, 1993).

With the continued increase in the transactions of business globally, there is a need for effective communication between the employees and the managers of the international counterparts. Because of the difference in culture, countries should be able to understand how to communicate with each other without being offensive. Any organization that wants to do business beyond borders must have effective communication.

With strong employee engagement, sales and marketing teams are likely to surpass their goals and objectives. Managers should be personal in that they should get to know the employees interact with them on a personal level and make them the subject of the communication. To grasp the attention of the employees, the management should show that the investment of the employees goes beyond the workplace. In addition, to make the communication more personal, one should stimulate your connection frequently by sharing excitement and concerns (Ulmer & Sellnow, 2017).

Managers should also be able to recognize the nonverbal communication of the employee, as in he should be able to understand when the morale of the employees have gone down and what to do to improve it. If there is no recognition, the employees will feel undervalued and this may lead to employees leaving their organizations. Employee value should be always recognized.

Effective verbal communication can be used by business professionals by use of spoken words to convey a message. The reader of the message needs to interpret the message correctly for it to be meaningful. For verbal communication to be more effective, it starts by acknowledging what the audience needs. Successful communication is necessary for a business professional (Mone &London 2014).

Verbal communication is necessary when holding meetings. This is because the participants need to share ideas.
