I think that one grapes at a supermarket is immoral, since the cat would desensitize and make people more capable of stealing. This is because when one person eats a grape or does not take action, others will follow suit. The explanation is that this is immoral. It is therefore correct to say that in such a case, the "domino argument" will apply. The Domino argument was a 1950s and 80s theory, which speculated that the surrounding countries would follow if a single country in an area was under the control of the communisis. It would apply in this situation because if one person ate a grape at the supermarket, others may follow in the domino effect.
Categorical imperative implies that an ethical individual should make the right choices and follow the universal laws regardless of their circumstances. On this note, it is unethical for a person to eat one grape at the supermarket because the grapes are for sale. Additionally, if the individual decided to eat one grape because other people were eating it, the grape would run out from consumption by people other than sells. The categorical imperative theory expects a person to follow universal laws, rather than to do what everyone else is doing.
The Utilitarianism theory also helps to support the notion that people should not eat one grape at the supermarket. According to this theory, a person needs to act in a manner that will produce the best results regardless of their circumstances. For this reason, people need to consider the decisions they make and know whether they may lead to good or bad results.
