The author addresses immigration problems as well as the care that these individuals are likely to receive in a foreign country. Furthermore, the author emphasizes that a person has the right to make his or her own decisions and to live in any mode of society. For example, unique days recognized with a meal from a specific country can be added to the eating menu. The menu could be shuffled, with Thai on Monday, Italian on Tuesday, Szechuan on Wednesday, Hungarian on Thursday, and every other cuisine on the remaining days of the week (Dalrymple 1). Therefore, any individual can initiate any activity with the targets of attaining satisfaction.
The author also demonstrates that foreigners have the capability to live in two cultures at the same time. It is due to the factors of their need to adapt to that way of life witnessing the changes that they may encounter when living in a particular environment. The author further states that the process of adjusting to a different way of life leads to a series of conflicts between individuals. It is due to the fact that people have a different belief, cultural standards, and expectations creating limited amounts of the bond between these persons (Dalrymple 3). The author further indicates that these conflicts can quickly be resolved through the acts of seeking an appeal to the deeply entrenched higher principles that are embodied in law. Nevertheless, any individual has the right to choose a particular way of living (Dalrymple 3). The western conception of individualism and tolerance is due to the aspect of outset in these cultures.

Support of the Argument

The explanation is based on personal experience and encounters that the author has had with these groups of people. An aspect of visual experience plays a significant role in the expression of a given idea. The reader can also have the ability to interpret a particular scene and also make a judgment on a given activity that occurred during that era. For example, an act of multiculturalist vision is witnessed in the document demonstrating how life would be a communist society and no issue of the division was being executed in the society (Dalrymple 4). On the other hand, an individual can then raise a question about how a similar society would appear in the presence of a socialist environment. Furthermore, in a communist society, the author states that nobody would have a single exclusive sphere of activity but an individual had to execute a series of activities in a day. For instance, a man had to go hunting in the morning, fishing in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, and raise a series of criticism after dinner. It is a schedule that was often done in society without an inclusion of a reminder of what actions had to be done on a particular day. Therefore, these activities elaborate the theme that the author applied in the elaboration of his content in the article.

According to the model of framing his arguments in the paper, I agree with the model he applied in providing acts of description. The use of life experience acts a guide to the issue of understanding the concept used in elaborating a given idea as documented in the paper. For instance, it is hard for an individual to quickly adjust to a foreign setting as there is a need for the individual to execute various activities that are being done in that area. In the long run, the individual will have the ability to adapt to a particular schedule that is being implemented in that area. For instance, it’s seen as an individual having different menus for a single week, which is not often practiced in certain places in the world. Therefore an individual is then left with a single option of adjusting to that particular way of life so as to fit in that setup. Instances of failure to adapt to that way of life will lead to the aspects of moving back to their parent land and continue applying their usual way of life. Nevertheless, an individual will always have to show interest to adjust to a given community through making various sets of inquiries about that way of life in that region. It further elaborates that the relatively huge numbers of immigrants in an area succeed in living in two cultures at a single moment. However, not every anyone has the opportunity to tell them what they should be doing as they often have the urge to do those acts and they must join their colleagues in the area.

Insights

The publication has an inclusion of capitalism and politics with regards to the activities that were being executed in that area. These concepts can also be elaborated with reference to Dona Haraway who made a series of publication about the identifications of control (Capitalism and Politics). The issue of capitalism is witnessed with the activities that were often being executed by men in that ear. These activities symbolized concerns of dominance as they had to execute the majority of the hard work to sustain their families. On the other hand, the context of politics is viewed with the issue of criticism that was often done after dinner. The assumption can further lead to a conclusion that the men usually dictated the various duties that were to be done on that day and later make an evaluation of the level of execution of these activities.
Secondly, Aristotle can be viewed as another inspirational philosopher with publications relating to the article. He made a series of publication between 384 – 322 B.C with reference to the use of systematic logic as expressed in syllogisms. For example, an immigrant often executed various activities without being asked to do with any individual. It further relates to the issue of using logic in finding a solution to a particular act in society. Instances of the constant provision of information on how to execute a given act in society are deemed as a failure to apply logic to attain the result. The practices of self-drive will often play a significant role in the achievement of a particular goal with limited influence from a third party. It further demonstrates the duties that the immigrants wanted to apply to fit in a given community. Aristotle also stated that the highest good for an individual is the act of complete exercise of a human function of rationality. It is in contrary to the ideologies of Plato, who had a belief that a concrete reality often partakes of a forum but not to embody it.
